Credit Card Cannot Be Added on iPhone (iOS) — What to Do

Issue

Some users may experience an issue when trying to add their credit card using an iPhone (iOS app).

In certain cases, the same card:

• Works on Android

• Works on Desktop

• Works on the Website

• But fails when added through the iOS app


Our technical team is currently investigating this behavior with PayPal.

Temporary Solution (Quick Fix)

If you are using an iPhone and the card cannot be added, please follow these steps:

Step 1 – Use Desktop or Web Version

Open Bellabona on:

• Desktop (Chrome, Safari, Edge)

or

• Your mobile browser (not the iOS app)

•  Log in to your account and add your credit card there.

Step 2 – Return to the iOS App

Once the card is successfully added via Desktop/Web:

• Open your iOS app again

• The card will appear saved in your account

• You can proceed with placing your order normally

 

Why This Happens

This appears to be a compatibility issue specific to iOS when communicating with PayPal’s card vault system.

The card itself is valid and can be stored successfully — it simply needs to be added through the web interface as a workaround for now.
