We can't predict the future of tech, but we can sort out lunch. On 21 October, Startup Grind Berlin hosted the official watch party for Jensen Huang's NVIDIA GTC Berlin keynote in the cinema at NLND, and Bella&Bona was there as food partner.

A keynote, shared

Sixty founders, builders and investors had a seat, and the room was full. The event was free, every registration was reviewed, and more than 200 people signed up, so Startup Grind is now planning a series of NVIDIA-powered events for everyone who didn't get in.

The programme brought together a panel with Alexander Martynau from NVIDIA and Wolf Vollprecht, founder of prefix.dev, moderated by Ranjan R Jinka from Startup Grind Berlin. They talked about how NVIDIA Inception helps startups grow from an early idea to scale. After that came the audience Q&A and the keynote itself, on the big screen.

Matteo on stage

Between the conversations, our MD Matteo Cricco took the stage to introduce Bella&Bona to the room: fresh food for offices, vegan, vegetarian and meat dishes, and one partner and one invoice for everything. It was a nice moment to put a face to the food that was waiting in the next room.

What was on the table

Our team brought seven dishes, split evenly between vegan, vegetarian and meat options, so everyone could find something. Think butter chicken with rice and naan, a chickpea, pumpkin and kale coconut curry, a feta and fennel grain bowl and goat cheese pasta.

Stacked lunch boxes with labels for each dish on the buffet table

Every dish was on a printed menu with the ingredients and allergens, and the team set everything up before the first guests arrived. Afterwards, we collected the containers again, so the organisers didn't have to think about cleaning up.

Thank you

Thank you to Startup Grind Berlin, and to Ranjan R Jinka and the team, for having us. Thank you to NLND for the venue and the drinks, to NVIDIA for the conversation, and to everyone who came and talked over lunch. Big thanks as well to Alexandra, Tasneem and Kevin from our team.
